Long caucus wait times point to system needing redesign.

Why is the caucus-voting process so long and dreadful? It makes voters want to stay at home. At one poll, there were only 10 computerized voting-ballot machines available for seemingly millions showing up to vote.

So many questions about the 'R' word: Is recession the next turn for U.S. economy?

With the way things seem to be going, many questions are in order.
Is America heading for an economic recession?

Stocks are in a slump, gas prices are reaching all-time highs, and house mortgages are on the rise.

In the past, most North Harris sushi-lovers would have to drive far distances to find freshly raw dishes and a nice ambiance if they were looking for something more than what is offered on campus. That distance is now shortened due to the growing number of sushi restaurants locally.

The malls across Houston are continuing to add higher- and higher-end clothing stores, such as MetroPark and Urban Outfitters, for their unique twist on fashion such as trendy, graphic shirts with an urban, retro approach. While such high-fashion shopping can cost a lot for students, there is hope.

Most Americans nowadays are overweight, but what is the best way to stay in great physical condition?

People who want to lose weight usually go on one of the popular diets they hear about, like the Atkins diet or the Subway diet. However, whether the fads work or not is a matter of disagreement on campus.

Outlet malls usually offer better deals on brand-name clothes, but until recently, the closest to campus were rather far for convenient shopping. That problem may now be solved for North Harris folks because the Houston Premiere Outlet just had a recent grand opening, offering over 100 new shops right in the heart of the Cypress-Fairbanks area.

On March 26, 2008, the LSC-North Harris College Lady Lions played a close, ferocious game against the University of Houston Downtown (UHD) Waves. Throughout the night, both sides traded fierce back-to-back blows. As time changes, so did the score. Our Lady Lions lost another heartbreaker, dwindling hopes for a playoff spot.
